Job Description:

Purpose: This role supports the Global Scientific Communications team to produce high-quality regulatory and publication documents. The main focus is on editing, document finalization, publishing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Scientific Communications Document Support:

  • Editing and Quality Review:

    • Ensure timely, error-free delivery of regulatory and publication documents.

    • Correct errors in grammar, style, formatting, and syntax.

    • Ensure accuracy and consistency of data within and between related documents.

  • Document Finalization/Publishing:

    • Produce eCTD-compliant PDFs of medical regulatory documents using publishing software.

    • Review and format Word files for compliance, converting them to PDFs as needed.

  • General Expectations:

    • Maintain a strong customer focus and meet deadlines.

    • Coach new specialists and coordinate with external vendors when necessary.

2. Process Efficiency & Technology Advancement:

  • Stay proficient in software, tools, processes, and workflows.

  • Suggest improvements to streamline document processes and reduce redundancy.

3. Therapeutic & Disease State Management:

  • Understand priorities and strategies across therapeutic areas.

  • Continuously develop knowledge of therapeutic areas and clinical trial design.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Ability to manage complex technical challenges with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

  • Excellent project and time management skills.

  • Proficiency in using office tools (word processing, tables, graphics, spreadsheets, etc.).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.


Additional Preferences:

  • Knowledge of editing and proofreading tools and techniques.

  • BELS certification (preferred).

  • Familiarity with medical and statistical terminology.

  • Basic knowledge of scientific literature search and retrieval.

  • Limited travel (up to 10%).
