Role Overview

We are seeking a Scientific Specialist – Medical Information with a strong scientific background and proven medical writing experience to support the development and management of medical content. The role involves literature review, creation and updating of scientific content, handling escalated medical queries, and collaborating with cross-functional teams globally.


Key Responsibilities

Medical Writing & Content Development

  • Conduct comprehensive literature searches using PubMed and other subscribed databases to validate and extract relevant scientific information.

  • Create or update Global Standard Scientific Reference Content (gSSRCs), FAQs, and other scientific documents in accordance with style guides and templates.

  • Draft and manage scientific publications, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations.

Medical Information & Query Management

  • Respond to escalated medical and scientific queries from internal teams, healthcare professionals (HCPs), patients, and caregivers.

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of medical information.

  • Maintain adherence to quality standards, timelines, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.

Collaboration & Project Support

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including remote teams, ensuring seamless knowledge sharing and alignment.

  • Participate in assigned training programs and contribute to continuous learning initiatives.

  • Follow best practices in project management, documentation, and communication.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Educational Background: PharmD, MD, PhD, or Master’s degree in a life sciences or healthcare-related field.

  • Experience: 3–5 years of medical writing or scientific content development, with demonstrated expertise in managing scientific publications.

  • Strong knowledge of IT tools, digital platforms, and scientific databases.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks, deliver results under tight deadlines, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across multiple teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Therapeutic area experience in Cardiovascular, Renal, Metabolism (CRM), Respiratory, Inflammation, Immunology, or Oncology.

  • Experience in medical information support, global publications, or pharmacovigilance-related writing.
