Sales and Oncology Editorial Lead

Position Overview:

Labcorp is seeking a Sales and Oncology Editorial Lead to provide writing support, content marketing for sales enablement, and lead the creation of the Corporate Responsibility Report. This role will also serve as a backup writer for other business units as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate Responsibility Report:

  • Lead the development of the Corporate Responsibility Report in collaboration with the corporate communications team.
  • Utilize AI tools for content assistance, reprompting, and fact-checking.

Field Activation & Sales Enablement:

  • Create high-impact marketing materials to support business-critical divisions and drive growth.
  • Develop email campaigns, sell sheets, M&A materials, and sales enablement correspondence.
  • Ensure materials align with broader strategic goals and business objectives.

Revenue Retention & Growth:

  • Partner with the field activation team to produce marketing deliverables that enhance client retention and revenue growth.
  • Address local business needs effectively through content-driven strategies.

Writing & Content Development:

  • Research, interview, and create customer-friendly content.
  • Develop white papers, blogs, case studies, and marketing materials that align with Labcorp’s brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, product managers, and scientific leadership to ensure content accuracy.
  • Align content development with product launches, scientific congresses, and key communication events.

Brand Support & Social Media Copywriting:

  • Work with business unit writers to create engaging social media copy for brand campaigns.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all communication platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for a unified brand voice.

Qualifications & Experience:

Preferred:

  • 6+ years of writing experience, with a focus on scientific and clinical publications.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in medical-related sciences with additional qualifications in communications, marketing, English, or public health.

Requirements:

  • Strong writing and copywriting skills.
  • Proficiency in web content, SEO best practices, and digital marketing.
  • Ability to write long-form and short-form content flexibly.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
