Position Summary:
We are seeking a Product Specialist / Senior Product Specialist to join our Cardiometabolic Sales team in Bangalore. This role is ideal for pharmaceutical sales professionals with 1–7 years of experience and a strong understanding of diabetes and obesity markets. The successful candidate will drive product adoption, engage key healthcare stakeholders, and support strategic sales initiatives to enhance cardiometabolic care across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and map key healthcare stakeholders within the assigned region to execute marketing and sales initiatives in collaboration with the Area Sales Manager.

  • Promote company products to doctors, address queries, manage objections, and secure prescriptions.

  • Achieve sales effectiveness KPIs, including call frequency, coverage, personal order bookings, and other targets.

  • Ensure timely product supply by coordinating with C&FA agents, stockists, and internal supply teams.

  • Conduct prescription audits and competitive analysis to evaluate doctor engagement, previous visit outcomes, and competitor activity.

  • Support strategic segmentation of doctors, assist in order booking, and provide actionable market feedback to leadership.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to organize approved educational activities and maintain timely reporting and administrative processes.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Life Sciences (full-time) required.

  • 1–7 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in diabetes or cardiometabolic therapies.

  • Strong knowledge of the territory, market trends, and stockist networks.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.

  • Solid business acumen and analytical abilities to drive sales performance.
