Role Summary:

The Sr. Associate Consultant / Associate Consultant – Sales Force Optimization (SFO) is part of the Global Operations and Strategy Organization (GOSO) and will support Lilly’s International Business Unit (IBU) by providing key sales operations capabilities including sales force sizing, structure optimization, territory alignment, customer targeting, and field force analytics.


Key Responsibilities

Sales Force Strategy & Planning:

  • Collect and analyze data on sales force size, structure, and performance to inform field team decisions.

  • Develop strategies for segmentation, targeting, call planning, and territory optimization.

  • Cascade and analyze sales targets at the sales associate level.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau and Power BI.

  • Support sales performance optimization through data-driven insights and key performance indicator (KPI) tracking.

Project & Stakeholder Management:

  • Contribute to project execution from kickoff to delivery, including methodology development and data visualization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and act as a trusted advisor to affiliates and stakeholders.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Understanding of pharmaceutical sales force operations and landscape

  • Experience in SFO or related commercial analytics functions

Preferred:

  • BTech or MBA with 3–6 years in sales planning, commercial operations, or analytics

  • Proficiency in tools like Tableau, Power BI, SQL, AWS, Veeva, CRM systems, and MS Office

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high learning agility, and attention to detail

  • Prior experience working with global stakeholders or across multiple geographies
