Role Summary

The Operator is responsible for executing batch operations, managing production data, ensuring safety compliance, and contributing to process improvements in manufacturing. This role requires proficiency with PLC/SCADA systems and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Batch Operations: Execute production batches following the Master Production Record (MPR) and using PLC/SCADA systems.

  • Data Management: Accurately record critical information (ingredients, weights, temperatures) into the database during batch execution.

  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve production equipment and process issues effectively.

  • Safety Compliance: Observe and adhere to all safety and quality regulations; report any accidents or violations.

  • Process Improvement: Assist in planning and implementing initiatives to enhance processes and product quality.

  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure successful completion of production operations.

  • Physical Requirements: Perform tasks involving walking, standing, sitting, lifting, climbing, crouching, operating tools, and wearing safety gear as needed.


Qualifications & Experience

Basic/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3–7 years in a similar operational role.

  • Education: B.Sc. in Chemistry or Diploma/B. Tech in Chemical Engineering.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with PLC/SCADA systems.

  • Data Accuracy: Ability to accurately record and input production data.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with safety and quality regulations in a production environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong documentation skills in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Experience in process improvement initiatives.
