🎯 Role Summary:

As a Plant Operator, you will be responsible for manufacturing and evaluating products according to established protocols, providing technical support, and ensuring safe and efficient operations within your shift.


🛠 Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform shift-wise operations (6 days a week) safely, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.

  • Be adequately trained to carry out assigned tasks and responsibilities.

  • Clean equipment and work areas during and after operations.

  • Complete production targets to achieve group and departmental goals within deadlines.

  • Implement Kaizens and maintain 6S standards in the manufacturing area.

  • Report and record deviations during activities and support AM/PM shift activities.

  • Support laboratory functions such as equipment maintenance, reagent preparation, restocking supplies, and waste disposal.

  • Communicate operational status and report deviations to supervisors.

  • Complete required logbooks accurately as per standard procedures.

  • Perform routine troubleshooting and independent execution of procedures.

  • Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives under supervision.

  • Take immediate action to address unsafe conditions.

  • Develop and document improvement ideas and assess their impacts.

  • Perform and interpret analytical evaluations of products and intermediates.

  • Handle solvent distillation and solvent transfer operations safely.


👤 Who You Are:

🎓 Minimum Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering

📅 Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • 4+ years of industrial experience, preferably in gas production and cylinder filling.

  • Experience in SCADA operations and shift handling.

  • Good knowledge of handling hazardous gases.

  • Laboratory and analytical skills.

  • Knowledge of ISO Quality standards.

  • Familiarity with laboratory instruments and production equipment.

  • Proficiency with analytical techniques and safe chemical handling methods.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Computer literacy, mechanical aptitude, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Good interpersonal and organizational abilities.
