Your Role

As a Plant Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently running manufacturing operations in support of departmental goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support shift-wise operations (6-day working schedule).

  • Safely perform operations to meet quality expectations.

  • Ensure adequate training before performing tasks.

  • Clean and maintain equipment and work areas before, during, and after operations.

  • Achieve departmental production goals and meet deadlines.

  • Implement Kaizens and maintain 6S standards in the manufacturing area.

  • Report and document deviations observed during activities.

  • Support AM/PM activities and lab support functions (equipment, reagents, supplies, waste disposal).

  • Communicate status of operations and escalate deviations to supervisors.

  • Complete logbooks and documentation as per procedures.

  • Perform procedures independently and carry out routine troubleshooting.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute ideas under supervision.

  • Safely handle solvent distillation and transfer.

  • Perform and interpret analytical evaluations of products and intermediates.

  • Ensure safety compliance and address unsafe conditions immediately.


Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Chemical Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of independent industrial experience (preferably in gas production and cylinder filling industry).

  • Experience handling SCADA operations.

  • Experience managing shift activities.

  • Strong knowledge of handling hazardous gases.

  • Familiarity with ISO quality standards.

  • Laboratory and analytical skills.

  • Knowledge of safe chemical handling methods.

  • Proficiency with analytical techniques and equipment.

  • Computer, troubleshooting, mechanical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Strong oral and written communication abilities.
