Healthcare Provider Client Relationship Manager (Associate Director)

Location: Chicago, IL or Nashville, TN (Hybrid – minimum 3 days on-site)
Salary: $150,000 – $175,000 + 30% Annual Target Bonus

Job Summary:

Cognizant is hiring an experienced Client Relationship Manager (CRM) at the Associate Director level to lead healthcare provider accounts in the central United States. This strategic role focuses on expanding key healthcare IT client partnerships, managing delivery performance, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving P&L growth. If you're passionate about leading enterprise healthcare engagements, influencing business transformation, and managing multimillion-dollar portfolios, this is your opportunity to thrive in a high-impact leadership role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth across existing provider clients through strategic account planning and service delivery excellence.

  • Manage client relationships, P&L, and contract renewals while identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities.

  • Develop deep understanding of client goals and create actionable solutions in collaboration with internal delivery teams.

  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships within client organizations.

  • Lead executive presentations, proposal development, and business reviews.

  • Collaborate with innovation and delivery teams to execute a digital transformation agenda.

  • Support the entire lifecycle of managed services deals—from discovery to contract closure.

  • Oversee operational elements including forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in client-facing roles within IT services or healthcare consulting.

  • Proven track record in sales, renewals, P&L ownership, and multi-year deal closures.

  • Strong knowledge of the US healthcare provider landscape, including trends and technologies.

  • Experience in navigating matrixed organizations and cross-functional teams.

  • Executive presence with excellent stakeholder management and strategic thinking abilities.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

  • Must be based in Chicago, IL or Nashville, TN, with the ability to travel regionally.
