Senior Healthcare EDI Analyst – Remote (USA)
Job Summary:
Experian, a global leader in data and technology services, is hiring a Senior Healthcare EDI Analyst to join its Experian Health division. This full-time, remote role focuses on managing and optimizing the electronic exchange of healthcare data, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transactions and resolve errors efficiently.
Ensure all EDI transactions are HIPAA compliant.
Maintain direct relationships with product, technology, and business teams.
Collaborate with external vendors, clients, and trading partners.
Create and maintain EDI documentation, including guides and process manuals.
Conduct partner training sessions on EDI best practices.
Support automation and AI-driven EDI processes.
Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency.
Communicate technical issues clearly to stakeholders and partners.
Host working sessions with external stakeholders and internal teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred.
Minimum 5 years’ experience as EDI Analyst or similar in healthcare revenue cycle management.
In-depth knowledge of healthcare EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, HL7).
Expertise in EDI transaction sets: 270/271, 276/277, 278, 837, 835.
Proficient in EDI mapping tools and related software.
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
Skilled with Salesforce, Atlassian JIRA, Microsoft 365 Suite, and Excel (complex functions).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
