Senior Healthcare EDI Analyst – Remote (USA)

Job Summary:
Experian, a global leader in data and technology services, is hiring a Senior Healthcare EDI Analyst to join its Experian Health division. This full-time, remote role focuses on managing and optimizing the electronic exchange of healthcare data, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transactions and resolve errors efficiently.

  • Ensure all EDI transactions are HIPAA compliant.

  • Maintain direct relationships with product, technology, and business teams.

  • Collaborate with external vendors, clients, and trading partners.

  • Create and maintain EDI documentation, including guides and process manuals.

  • Conduct partner training sessions on EDI best practices.

  • Support automation and AI-driven EDI processes.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency.

  • Communicate technical issues clearly to stakeholders and partners.

  • Host working sessions with external stakeholders and internal teams.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as EDI Analyst or similar in healthcare revenue cycle management.

  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, HL7).

  • Expertise in EDI transaction sets: 270/271, 276/277, 278, 837, 835.

  • Proficient in EDI mapping tools and related software.

  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.

  • Skilled with Salesforce, Atlassian JIRA, Microsoft 365 Suite, and Excel (complex functions).

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
