Healthcare EDI Analyst – Remote (USA)

Job Summary:

Experian, a global leader in data and technology, is hiring a Healthcare EDI Analyst to join its Experian Health division. This remote, full-time opportunity focuses on the electronic exchange of healthcare data, HIPAA compliance, troubleshooting EDI transactions, and collaboration with technology and business teams. Candidates with at least 3 years of healthcare EDI experience are encouraged to apply.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, analyze, and resolve EDI transaction issues.

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations in all transactions.

  • Develop and maintain EDI documentation including companion guides and process checklists.

  • Collaborate with internal technology, operations, and business teams for process improvement.

  • Conduct training for internal teams on EDI standards and best practices.

  • Communicate connectivity and processing issues with stakeholders and external partners.

  • Utilize and support automation and AI technologies to optimize EDI processes.

  • Maintain strong partner relationships to ensure seamless EDI operations.

  • Host working sessions with clients, vendors, and trading partners.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as an EDI Analyst or in similar healthcare revenue cycle roles.

  • Strong understanding of EDI standards: X12, EDIFACT, HL7.

  • Familiarity with healthcare transactions: 270/271, 276/277, 278, 837, 835.

  • Proficient with EDI mapping tools and related applications.

  • Experience using Salesforce, Atlassian JIRA, Microsoft 365 suite with advanced Excel skills.

  • Solid knowledge of healthcare reimbursement workflows and patient access processes.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
