Healthcare Call Center Specialist – On-site | Mason, OH | EVERSANA

Job Summary:
EVERSANA is hiring a Healthcare Call Center Specialist to support patient reimbursement services from its Mason, OH location. In this on-site, full-time position, you'll be the first point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, offering support for benefit verification, prior authorization, and reimbursement inquiries. This is an excellent opportunity for healthcare professionals experienced in pharmacy operations and insurance processes to make a direct impact on patient access and care.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient and provider support via phone, CRM, and email

  • Conduct benefit investigations and verify insurance coverage details

  • Assist with prior authorization, medical necessity, and claims appeals

  • Triage inquiries to third-party support centers as appropriate

  • Perform patient enrollment intake across programs

  • Maintain a courteous, empathetic, and solution-focused approach

  • Ensure accurate documentation of all communication and processes

  • Participate in training and continuous quality improvement initiatives

  • Uphold compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in pharmacy reimbursement or prior authorization processes

  • Strong understanding of benefit verification and payer communications

  • Knowledge of healthcare billing, pharmacy operations, and reimbursement protocols

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Detail-oriented, with strong multitasking and organizational skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to work rotating 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday

Preferred:

  • Previous contact center or customer service experience in healthcare

  • Background in patient services or reimbursement support
