About the Role

Sanofi is seeking an Expert Scientific Writer with deep expertise in Health Economics and Value Assessment (HEVA) to join its Global Hub (SGH) team in Hyderabad. This role focuses on creating high-quality HEVA communication deliverables, including manuscripts, posters, abstracts, slide decks, and study reports. The ideal candidate will contribute to global and local publication strategies, ensuring that scientific and health economic evidence is effectively communicated to healthcare decision-makers.

This position provides an opportunity to lead HEVA content development, maintain therapeutic area expertise, and coach junior writers, while collaborating with cross-functional global teams to support value-based evidence for pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & HEVA Communication

  • Develop HEVA communications deliverables aligned with global HEVA strategy and communication plans across business units and product teams.

  • Prepare Core Value Decks, synthesizing critical HEVA evidence to support product value and reimbursement decisions.

  • Create specialized content independently, including manuscripts, posters, abstracts, slide decks, and study reports (HEOR, PRO, HCRU, psychometric analyses).

  • Maintain compliance with publication SOPs and ensure adherence to regulatory and scientific standards.

  • Innovate HEVA value communications to increase relevance and impact for healthcare stakeholders.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with HEVA global and local teams, RWE teams, medical departments, and cross-functional scientific communication teams.

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, providing customized evidence-based content to meet publication and communication objectives.

  • Coach and mentor junior and senior writers to enhance team capabilities and maintain content quality.

Process & Performance Excellence

  • Manage end-to-end HEVA communication processes using Datavision and Matrix.

  • Conduct comprehensive publication-needs analyses and implement content plans for the year.

  • Coordinate with selected vendors and internal teams to deliver high-quality outputs on time.

  • Prepare detailed reports from clinical trials, including methodology, objectives, and results for HEOR endpoints.

  • Continuously improve content and delivery methods based on stakeholder and end-user feedback.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in HEOR, health economics, or medical communications within the pharmaceutical industry, CRO consultancy, or academia.

  • Demonstrated expertise in developing scientific and value communications deliverables.

  • Knowledge of health economics, public health, epidemiology, psychology, or other relevant scientific disciplines.

  • Strong stakeholder management, project management, and publication submission skills.

  • Proven ability to lead complex scientific writing projects independently.

Education

  • Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or related health/scientific discipline.

Language Requirements

  • Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.
