Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Scientific Writer (HEVA) to deliver high-quality health economics and value assessment communications across Sanofi’s product portfolio. This role will focus on translating complex scientific and economic data into impactful publications, manuscripts, slide decks, abstracts, posters, and value dossiers. You will manage end-to-end HEVA communication processes and collaborate closely with global and local HEVA, RWE, and scientific teams.
Key Responsibilities
Medical & Scientific Writing:
Author, review, and manage HEVA deliverables including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide decks, Core Value Decks, US AMCP Dossiers, and other publication materials.
Ensure deliverables align with HEVA strategy, scientific evidence, and regulatory standards.
Maintain compliance with publication SOPs and Good Publication Practice guidelines.
Process & Project Management:
Manage HEVA communication processes, templates, and portfolios across products and therapeutic areas.
Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
Implement publication plans and continuously improve content based on feedback.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with HEVA, RWE, and scientific communication teams globally and locally.
Act as a subject matter expert for assigned therapeutic areas.
Support junior HEVA writers through mentoring, training, and content review.
Strategic Impact:
Identify opportunities to innovate HEVA value communications for improved decision-making on access and reimbursement.
Develop and maintain deep therapeutic area expertise to inform content strategy.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Advanced degree (Master’s/PhD) in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Health Economics, Public Health, or Medical discipline.
Experience: Minimum 4 years in scientific writing, health economics, or value assessment for pharmaceutical or healthcare organizations.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of health economics, epidemiology, outcomes research, or related scientific disciplines.
Familiarity with publication submission processes, Core Value Dossiers, AMCP dossiers, and Good Publication Practice.
Soft Skills:
Excellent English communication (written and verbal).
Strong stakeholder management and collaborative skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables efficiently.
