Job Title: Associate Expert Scientific Writer – Health Economics and Value Assessment (HEVA)

Role Overview:
The Associate Expert Scientific Writer – HEVA is responsible for creating high-quality scientific and HEVA communication deliverables that support healthcare decision-making and demonstrate the value of Sanofi products. This role combines scientific writing, health economics expertise, and stakeholder management, with opportunities to mentor junior writers and drive innovation in HEVA communications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. HEVA Communications & Scientific Writing:

  • Develop manuscripts, posters, abstracts, slide decks, and other HEVA materials aligned with HEVA strategy and global communication plans.

  • Integrate clinical and health economic evidence to support the value of products.

  • Maintain and update Core Value Decks and other HEVA communication assets.

  • Ensure all deliverables comply with publication SOPs, Good Publication Practice, and regulatory requirements.

2. Strategic & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with HEVA, RWE, and Scientific Communication teams globally and locally.

  • Support educational initiatives, advisory boards, and congress activities.

  • Coach and mentor senior and junior HEVA writers to elevate quality and consistency of deliverables.

  • Identify opportunities to innovate HEVA communications to enhance impact and support access and reimbursement decisions.

3. Process & Project Management:

  • Manage HEVA communication processes, templates, and end-to-end deliverables.

  • Lead project planning, execution, and end-user training for communication tools (iEnvision/Datavision/Matrix).

  • Review and ensure quality of HEVA deliverables and vendor contributions.

  • Track timelines, monitor progress, and maintain accountability for deliverables across products and therapeutic areas.

4. Knowledge & Expertise Development:

  • Develop therapeutic area expertise and maintain awareness of relevant scientific literature.

  • Support internal teams and external stakeholders with scientific content and HEVA evidence.

  • Assist in publication needs analysis and strategic content planning.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Medical degree.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in scientific writing, health economics, or pharmaceutical/healthcare communications.

  • Strong knowledge of Good Publication Practice (GPP), publication submission processes, and HEVA principles.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with publication management tools (iEnvision/Datavision/Matrix) is an advantage.
