Role Overview

The Jr. Associate – Evidence Synthesis will support global and local evidence generation initiatives by contributing to systematic literature reviews, meta-analyses, epidemiology studies, economic evaluations, and value communication strategies. The position plays a key role in strengthening payer evidence dossiers and maximizing product value propositions across markets.

This is a strategic entry-level HEOR role offering exposure to global medical, market access, and health economics functions.

Key Responsibilities

Evidence Synthesis & Research Execution

  • Assist in execution of assigned evidence synthesis projects including:

    • Search strategy development

    • Literature screening

    • Full-text review

    • Data extraction

  • Support burden of illness studies, epidemiology research, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and observational studies.

  • Contribute to economic evaluations and patient-reported outcome analyses.

  • Support research plans across pre-launch, launch, and post-launch stages.

HEOR & Value Strategy Support

  • Assist in developing strategic HEVA/Medical evidence materials.

  • Support preparation of payer-focused evidence aligned with:

    • Core Value Dossiers (CVD)

    • US AMCP dossiers

    • Global market access submissions

  • Contribute to development of standardized templates and evidence generation frameworks.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with HEVA, Medical Affairs, RWE, Clinical Development, Marketing, External Affairs, and Market Access teams.

  • Assist in identifying evidence gaps and developing customized deliverables.

  • Support execution and coordination of HEVA/Medical research studies.

Process & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to evidence generation guidelines and scientific standards.

  • Maintain documentation quality and alignment with global processes.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of evidence generation workflows.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 1+ year of experience in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) within:

    • Pharmaceutical industry

    • CRO or consultancy

    • Academic research environment

  • Exposure to systematic literature reviews, economic models, RWE studies, or payer evidence development preferred.

Educational Qualification

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Public Health, Health Economics, Epidemiology, or related discipline.

  • Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) considered an advantage.

Core Competencies & Technical Skills

  • Strong analytical skills to translate clinical and economic data into payer-relevant evidence strategies.

  • Understanding of HEOR methodologies including literature review, meta-analysis, epidemiology, and economic evaluation.

  • Excellent scientific writing and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage stakeholders and collaborate across global teams.

  • Strong command of English (written and spoken).

  • Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment.
