Clinical Trial Manager II – Cell & Gene Therapy (Remote, USA)

Job Summary

IQVIA Biotech is hiring an experienced Clinical Trial Manager II to lead cutting-edge oncology and Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT) clinical trials, including CAR-T programs. This is a remote role in the United States, ideal for clinical leaders who bring hands-on experience in managing Phase I–III trials and working with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead clinical trial delivery ensuring adherence to ICH-GCP, protocol, and sponsor requirements

  • Drive patient recruitment strategies to meet study timelines

  • Develop risk mitigation and quality plans; manage clinical risks throughout trial lifecycle

  • Collaborate with project leaders and internal departments for seamless delivery

  • Oversee project finances and support out-of-scope services management

  • Manage team resourcing, performance feedback, and milestone reporting

  • Contribute to proposal development and represent clinical operations in bid defense

  • Coach and mentor new Clinical Leads and support their integration into the role

  • Attend site visits as needed to support project outcomes


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of clinical research or monitoring experience

  • At least 2 years of clinical trial management experience (CRO preferred)

  • Solid oncology experience across Phase I–III trials

  • Expertise in Cell and Gene Therapy, especially CAR-T

  • Strong working knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and clinical trial conduct

  • Proven project management and stakeholder communication abilities

  • Proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to manage priorities, handle pressure, and work cross-functionally

  • Familiarity with project finances and budgeting in clinical operations
