Position Overview:
The Manager, Collaboration Management will oversee a portfolio of partnered programs within the Research, Strategy, Innovation & Portfolio Department. This high-visibility role requires managing internal and external stakeholders, driving programs toward optimal outcomes, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals. The role reports to the Head of Collaboration Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of partnered programs and coordinate internal and external stakeholder activities.

  • Organize and facilitate joint project meetings with collaborators to review program status, identify risks, and solve problems.

  • Partner with Collaboration Leaders to ensure timely progress and follow-ups on research activities.

  • Collaborate with internal R&D functions and Alliance Management to track and achieve defined program goals.

  • Maintain integrated timelines and understand functional interdependencies, risks, and assumptions.

  • Develop documentation to support strategic decision-making and governance meetings.

  • Monitor readiness of collaborative programs for licensing, internalization, and IP filings.

  • Contribute to internal and external portfolio tracking, data management, and reporting.

Essential Qualifications:

  • BS + 6+ years relevant experience OR

  • MS/MBA + 4+ years relevant experience OR

  • PhD/PharmD with relevant experience

  • Strong scientific acumen and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and competitive landscape.

  • Project leadership and project management experience in pharmaceutical R&D preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Microsoft Project and other tracking tools preferred.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $157,590 – $203,940 (based on experience and qualifications).

  • Eligible for discretionary annual bonus, stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
