Position Overview

The Manager, Strategic Operations & Analytics is a client-facing, data-driven leader responsible for guiding strategic solutions, operational excellence, and analytics-driven recommendations. This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare marketplace, market access trends, and program strategy. The Manager ensures that client initiatives are executed efficiently, deliver measurable impact, and align with business and regulatory objectives.


Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Consulting

  • Act as the primary analytics lead for client programs, delivering actionable insights through executive-level presentations and storytelling.

  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding program deliverables, risks, opportunities, and performance metrics.

  • Advise program management to ensure teams achieve client strategic priorities, goals, and KPIs.

  • Translate complex data into actionable recommendations to optimize commercial, market access, or clinical education programs.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop dashboards and advanced BI reports using SQL, Excel, and other analytics tools.

  • Conduct program and market trend analysis to identify growth opportunities and address potential challenges.

  • Measure program ROI and team impact, ensuring performance meets or exceeds expectations.

  • Provide strategic guidance based on CRM data, commercial performance, and market insights.

Regulatory & Compliance Support

  • Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements, laws, and guidelines impacting commercial, clinical, and market access programs.

  • Ensure analytics and recommendations adhere to applicable compliance standards.

Team & Process Optimization

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, clinical educators, medical affairs, and market access professionals.

  • Identify process improvements to increase operational efficiency, enhance reporting accuracy, and improve client satisfaction.

  • Mentor junior team members and support their professional development.


Required Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Analytics, or related field. Advanced degrees (MBA, MS, or PharmD) preferred.

Experience Level:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare analytics, strategic operations, or market access, preferably in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or medical devices.

  • Proven experience translating complex data into strategic insights for commercial, market access, or clinical education programs.

Technical & Core Skills:

  • Expertise in dashboard development and business intelligence tools, SQL, advanced Excel, and CRM analytics.

  • Strong business planning, market analysis, and program metrics definition experience.

  • Excellent client communication, presentation, and consulting skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver insights under tight deadlines, and influence senior stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of digital marketing and analytics tools is preferred.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual base salary: USD $121,000 – $148,000

  • Performance-based bonus eligibility
