Job Overview

Syneos Health is seeking an experienced Associate Account Manager – Full-Service REMS to join its Global Risk Management and Full-Service REMS (GRMR) team. This role supports the delivery and operational management of Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS) programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, client satisfaction, and high-quality execution across the program lifecycle.

The Associate Account Manager will partner closely with primary Account Managers, cross-functional internal teams, and external stakeholders to deliver REMS programs on time, within scope, and within budget. This position requires strong project management capabilities, client communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.


Key Responsibilities

Client & Program Management

  • Support the successful execution of Full-Service REMS and Global Risk Management programs

  • Serve as a day-to-day contact for assigned REMS programs and client engagements

  • Manage program activities from initiation through close-out, including timelines, scope, budget, and resourcing

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of client deliverables

  • Prepare, facilitate, and participate in client meetings, presentations, and status reviews

  • Assist with revenue tracking, invoicing, and financial oversight for assigned projects

Project Delivery & Compliance

  • Ensure programs are executed in accordance with Syneos Health and client SOPs

  • Maintain comprehensive, audit-ready program documentation

  • Support sponsor and regulatory audits as required

  • Identify, escalate, and resolve risks, issues, and scope changes proactively

  • Translate client requirements into actionable project plans and functional specifications

  • Collaborate with technology and operational teams to support program execution

Communication & Leadership

  • Communicate regularly with clients, internal teams, and program leadership

  • Proactively manage up by providing clear updates on timelines, risks, scope changes, and opportunities

  • Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and maturity in all internal and external interactions

  • Foster strong working relationships across a matrixed, cross-functional environment

Professional Development & Culture

  • Participate in internal training, professional development, and company initiatives

  • Actively seek feedback, coaching, and growth opportunities

  • Expand knowledge of REMS regulations, biopharmaceutical products, and consulting services

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project management, account management, consulting, or regulated healthcare/pharmaceutical environments

  • PMI CAPM, PMP, or equivalent project management certification preferred

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects in cross-functional, matrix organizations

  • Strong understanding of REMS programs, risk management, or regulatory-driven initiatives preferred


Skills & Competencies

  • Strong project management, organizational, and time-management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, SharePoint)

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and high workloads effectively

  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities

  • Skilled in meeting facilitation, stakeholder coordination, and influencing without authority

  • Ability to translate ambiguity into actionable plans with resilience and adaptability


Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual Base Salary Range: USD 90,950 – 107,000

  • Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and role-specific competencies

  • Eligibility for performance-based bonuses may apply
