🧭 Position Overview

The Sr. Manager, Product Analyst, CDM, is part of the Global Drug Development IT (GDDIT) Data & Analytics team. The role bridges business needs and technology solutions within the Clinical Data Ecosystem (CDE) to support clinical trial execution, data management, and data review.

The role involves evaluating business challenges, improving operational efficiency, reducing cycle time, and implementing technology solutions. This position requires collaboration with global CDM stakeholders, software developers, project managers, and IT teams to ensure successful delivery and operation of CDM technology solutions.


⚙️ Key Responsibilities

Product & Technology Management

  • Define CDM product strategy, roadmaps, scope, implementation planning, feature stories, value proposition, and success criteria.

  • Deliver high-quality technology solutions for the CDM portfolio.

  • Provide guidance and oversight to resources supporting projects, enhancements, and operations.

  • Stay updated with technology trends and industry best practices in CDM platforms.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with clinical data management stakeholders, architects, engineers, UX designers, data scientists, product analysts, Scrum Masters, validation analysts, and software vendors.

  • Serve as subject matter expert on CDM solutions.

  • Analyze business problems and identify areas for improvement through technology solutions.

Data & Analytics Leadership

  • Implement and operate CDM capabilities and data solutions in cloud environments.

  • Contribute to Agile-based project delivery and team workflows.

  • (Optional) Apply hands-on experience with AWS data, analytics, AI technologies such as Glue, Redshift, S3, Athena, Lambda, Databricks, BI tools.

  • (Optional) Design and deploy generative and agentic AI solutions within clinical development workflows.


🎓 Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).

Experience

  • 6–8 years of hands-on experience implementing and operating CDM solutions and data analytics in cloud environments.

  • Functional knowledge or prior experience in Clinical Data Management and Life Sciences research technologies (e.g., Rave/EDC, CDMS, Clinical Data Repository).

  • Experience in business process mapping, workflow analysis, and data analysis tools.

  • Agile methodology experience preferred.

Skills

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of evolving CDM technology trends and product-based implementation.
