A Day in the Life

As the Deputy Manager-Compliance, you will serve as a strategic business partner, guiding business teams in providing compliant solutions and advising on ethical business practices. You will work to enhance the compliance program by driving and executing compliance strategies, collaborating with various functions, and actively contributing to the overall business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide compliance guidance to business teams on policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Analyze business activities, focusing on compliance risks, and provide strategic advice based on compliance metrics.
  • Review and approve business interactions with healthcare professionals and sales activities.
  • Implement compliance programs for third-party risks, including screening procedures, on-site assessments, and training.
  • Develop and deliver training on compliance policies, ensuring employees and channel partners are informed.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to drive the corporate compliance program.
  • Support the India Compliance Officer in managing the program, with primary responsibility for India.

Qualifications

Experience Required:

  • 6-14 years in Ethics & Compliance roles, with significant experience in the healthcare industry.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • In-depth understanding of healthcare industry regulations, business practices, and ethical compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to assess and mitigate risks.
  • Expertise in developing and delivering compliance training.
  • Ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders on compliance-related matters.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities to manage and mentor others.
