Job Summary

Join a globally recognized Clinical Research Organization (CRO) as a Pharmacy Technician I based in Madison, WI. In this full-time, on-site role, you will contribute to early-phase clinical research, assisting in handling Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs) and APIs. This is a unique opportunity to enhance your pharmacy skills while working on breakthrough medical treatments in a fast-paced, regulated environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the receipt, storage, packaging, and disposition of APIs and IMPs

  • Support dose preparation, dispensing, and labeling of medications

  • Maintain accurate records for IMP/API handling and inventory

  • Ensure pharmacy operations comply with GMP, GCP, and regulatory standards

  • Interact with sponsors, attend study meetings, and support the Study Lead

  • Maintain cleanliness, stock supplies, and ensure pharmacy readiness

  • May assist in manufacturing or assembly instructions and be cross-trained in operations

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth clinical study execution


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Active registration as a Pharmacy Technician in Wisconsin

  • Pharmacy Technician Certification recommended

  • 1–2 years of pharmaceutical or hospital pharmacy experience preferred

  • Experience in sterile preparations highly desirable

  • Strong attention to protocol, time management, and quality standards

  • Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and work in a team-oriented environment
