Job Summary:

Fortrea, one of the world’s largest clinical research organizations, is hiring a Clinical Research Technician – Phlebotomist in Daytona Beach, FL. This full-time, onsite role offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on in early-phase clinical trials involving a wide range of therapeutic areas. You will engage with healthy volunteers, collect biological samples, and support the execution of groundbreaking first-in-human studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform venipuncture, blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, temperature checks, and weight measurement

  • Record and prepare ECGs and Holters accurately

  • Collect and process biological samples in compliance with study protocols

  • Monitor dietary compliance of study participants

  • Assist in room setup and medical equipment preparation

  • Support screening and documentation procedures

  • Maintain clean, efficient, and regulatory-compliant workspaces

  • Follow all study protocols with precision and timeliness

  • Adapt to shifting priorities and clinical schedules

  • Other duties as assigned


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Certification preferred: EMT, Phlebotomy, CMA, or CNA

  • 0–1 year of relevant clinical or research experience

  • Must have phlebotomy/blood draw experience

  • Comfort working in a protocol-driven, time-sensitive setting

  • Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills

  • Familiarity with electronic data entry and clinical technology systems
