Job Summary:

Fortrea is seeking a part-time Clinical Call Center Representative to support participant recruitment for Phase 1 clinical trials. This on-site role in Dallas, TX is ideal for professionals with 1–2 years of customer service or call center experience, preferably with knowledge of medical terminology. You'll be the first point of contact for potential study participants, handling inbound and outbound communication, managing screening schedules, and maintaining accurate records.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls related to clinical trial participation

  • Enter participant medical history and demographic details into database

  • Communicate study protocols and screen participants using provided scripts

  • Schedule and confirm screening appointments

  • Respond to inquiries via email and coordinate with the screening department

  • Recommend improvements in participant engagement and recruitment workflows

  • Perform other related duties as assigned


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (USA-based)

  • 1–2 years of experience in customer service or call center environment

  • Strong communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus

  • Excellent computer literacy

  • Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

  • Must be comfortable sitting for long periods
