Job Summary:

Fortrea, a global leader in early-phase clinical research, is seeking a Clinical Research Technician I (Phlebotomist) for its Daytona Beach, FL unit. Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately perform venipuncture, blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory checks

  • Prepare and record ECGs and Holters

  • Collect, label, and process biological samples according to study protocols

  • Monitor participant dietary compliance

  • Assist with participant screening and physical assessments

  • Prepare rooms and equipment for clinical procedures

  • Maintain clean and compliant clinical areas

  • Adapt to changing study schedules and priorities

  • Follow GCP and protocol requirements without deviation


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • EMT, Phlebotomy, CMA, or CNA certification preferred

  • 0–1 year of clinical, phlebotomy, or healthcare experience

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, protocol-driven environment

  • Basic understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) principles

  • Ability to use electronic data collection systems

  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills
