Job Summary:

Fortrea, a global leader in clinical development solutions, is hiring PRN Research Technicians to support our Clinical Pharmacology Start-up team in Dallas, TX. This is a casual, on-site position ideal for entry-level healthcare professionals, recent graduates, or those with basic phlebotomy/clinical experience looking to gain hands-on exposure in early-phase drug development. You’ll work directly with trial participants and contribute to the safe and efficient execution of Phase 1 clinical research studies for top pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform vital signs assessments (BP, pulse, respiratory rate, temperature, weights)

  • Conduct venipuncture and ECG/Holter monitoring as per study protocols

  • Collect and process biological samples and ensure accurate labeling/distribution

  • Support dietary compliance monitoring for clinical participants

  • Prepare clinical rooms and medical equipment for trial readiness

  • Assist with participant screening and protocol-specific tasks

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and GCP-compliant working environment

  • Flexibly adapt to shifting priorities and fast-paced clinical schedules

  • Handle additional duties as assigned by clinical leads


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

  • Preferred certifications: EMT, Phlebotomy, CMA, or CNA

  • 0–1 year of experience in clinical research or patient-facing healthcare roles

  • Basic understanding of clinical protocols and GCP principles

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

  • Comfortable using electronic data capture systems

  • Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in time-sensitive, protocol-driven environments
