Position Overview:
The Global HEOR SLR Leader will manage the Systematic Literature Review team, overseeing all aspects of evidence synthesis in support of Amgen’s market access and value demonstration strategies. This includes the design, execution, and quality assurance of SLRs across therapeutic areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of Global HEOR SLR Analysts.
Oversee development and delivery of high-quality systematic literature reviews.
Ensure compliance with PRISMA, PICOS, and other industry standards.
Collaborate with HEOR Therapeutic Area Heads to align SLRs with value evidence strategies.
Develop research protocols, screening methods, and abstraction tools.
Integrate SLR outputs into HTA submissions, global value dossiers, and publications.
Drive innovation in tools and AI-enhanced methodologies for evidence synthesis.
Manage hiring, performance reviews, and training within the SLR function.
Basic Qualifications (one of the following):
Doctorate degree + 2 years' experience in SLR/evidence synthesis
Master’s degree + 8–10 years' experience
Bachelor’s degree + 10–14 years' experience
Diploma + 14–18 years' experience
Field of study must be Health Economics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum 3 years in a people management capacity
Expertise in systematic literature reviews and evidence synthesis
Familiarity with citation databases (e.g., PubMed, EMBASE)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; EndNote or other citation tools preferred
Excellent communication and scientific writing skills
Demonstrated quality control and detail orientation
Experience applying AI or automation to literature review processes (a plus)
