Senior Global Trial Manager – Remote, North Carolina

Compensation Range: $93,100 – $232,800 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)


Job Summary

IQVIA is hiring a Senior Global Trial Manager to lead the clinical delivery of large-scale, multi-regional clinical trials. This role is pivotal to ensuring timely, compliant, and high-quality study execution. You will collaborate across global teams and stakeholders to drive successful trial outcomes and bring transformative therapies to market faster. This is a fully remote role based in the United States, with preference for candidates near Durham, North Carolina.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end clinical trial delivery in compliance with GCP, ICH, regulatory, sponsor, and SOP requirements

  • Achieve recruitment targets and develop proactive recruitment strategies

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate clinical project risks throughout the lifecycle

  • Ensure adherence to clinical quality standards and manage deviations

  • Oversee project financials including EAC (Estimate at Completion) and identify scope expansion opportunities

  • Lead cross-functional teams, guiding internal and external stakeholders through complex, global clinical trials

  • Provide milestone tracking and status reporting to clients and sponsors

  • Support clinical team resourcing, training, and performance management


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, life sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Minimum 7 years of clinical research or clinical trial monitoring experience

  • Strong understanding of ICH-GCP and global clinical regulatory frameworks

  • Project management knowledge and ability to lead cross-functional teams

  • Proficient in written and verbal communication with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes

  • Experience in financial oversight of clinical trials
