Senior Biostatistician (Early Clinical)

About the Role:

Sanofi is seeking a skilled Senior Biostatistician (Early Clinical) to support the design, analysis, and reporting of clinical studies in early-phase development. You’ll collaborate with study teams, ensuring statistical integrity and compliance with global regulatory guidelines while contributing to innovative solutions in clinical development.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support clinical study design, including input into protocol development, statistical methodology, and sample size calculations.

  • Conduct statistical analyses per the Statistical Analysis Plan (SAP) and contribute to interpretation and reporting in the Clinical Study Report (CSR).

  • Deliver high-quality statistical outputs including randomization plans, SAPs, derived variable specifications, and tables, listings, and figures (TLGs).

  • Perform exploratory and ad-hoc data analyses in line with project objectives.

  • Provide input for transparency and disclosure deliverables.

  • Collaborate with programming teams to ensure accurate derivation and quality control of statistical outputs.

  • Review and interpret statistical data properties and distributions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Statistics or related discipline.

  • Experience: Prior experience in biostatistics within the pharmaceutical industry and clinical trial setting.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in SAS, R, and other statistical programming tools.

    • Strong understanding of clinical development and regulatory requirements.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

    • Capability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Languages: Fluency in English (written and verbal).
