About the Role

Are you skilled at sifting through data and finding meaningful connections? Do you enjoy transforming complex scientific details into impactful messages?

As a Senior Medical Writer in Medical Communications at Syneos Health, you will:

  • Join a global team specializing in high-science, peer-to-peer medical communications.

  • Contribute to strategic, high-quality deliverables such as publications, slide decks, and scientific reports.

  • Ensure the scientific accuracy of materials through evidence-based review.

  • Conduct secondary research to support project planning, medical claims, and expert identification.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform data and fact checks, annotations, literature searches, and editing.

  • Support Medical Affairs by:

    • Conducting gap analysis and KOL mapping.

    • Compiling reports and competitor analyses.

    • Handling medical information requests.

  • Collaborate with the global medical writing team to ensure review, approval, and document availability.

  • Manage compound-related queries, including development and approval of responses to medical inquiries.

  • Maintain medical information systems and literature libraries.

  • Coordinate timely product updates with medical and development teams.

  • Compile and select published evidence to support regulatory and health authority submissions.

  • Perform additional assigned tasks as required.


Requirements

🎓 Education: MSc, M. Pharm, or equivalent.
📊 Experience: Minimum 3 years in clinical research.
💻 Technical Skills:

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Medical literature databases (PubMed, EMBASE, etc.).
