Project Specialist – Medical Contributions

About the Role:
Sanofi is seeking a Project Specialist – Medical Contributions to join their Sanofi Business Operations (SBO) team in Hyderabad. The role focuses on managing and improving the process of handling Medical Contribution requests globally, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and streamlined coordination between internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Medical Contribution Process Management:

  • Act as the first point of contact for all external medical contribution requests.

  • Triage and assign requests (e.g., IME, research grants, scholarships/fellowships) to appropriate internal teams within 24 hours.

  • Follow up with coordinators to ensure proper handling and assignment of requests.

  • Develop custom Excel or Smartsheet-based supplemental forms to gather affiliate-specific information not captured in the portal.

System & Process Maintenance:

  • Regularly update and manage data in iEnvision, SmartSheet, SharePoint, and other trackers.

  • Archive documentation and develop reports for assessment and process improvement.

  • Continuously improve SOPs and training materials to support better process adoption.

Stakeholder Coordination & Support:

  • Serve as the primary liaison for external requestors and internal coordinators.

  • Align with stakeholders across business units, ensuring consistency with SOPs and compliance guidelines.

  • Monitor KPIs, identify risks, and recommend efficiency improvements.

Compliance & Documentation:

  • Conduct periodic reviews and audits of project objectives and deliverables.

  • Ensure compliance readiness and support operational excellence initiatives.

  • Maintain routing rules and triage procedures up to date for effective application flow.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a pharmaceutical/scientific discipline or related field.

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in grant administration or a related role.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint.

  • Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment.

  • Language: Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
