Overview

IQVIA is seeking an experienced Mobile Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist – Per Diem to support its In-Home Clinical Solutions program. This position is ideal for healthcare professionals who excel in patient interaction, clinical accuracy, and field-based service delivery. The role involves visiting patients in their homes to conduct diagnostic procedures and ensure quality care.

This per diem opportunity offers flexible scheduling, local travel within your assigned geographic area, and no minimum monthly visit requirement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-home clinical services, including:

    • Blood specimen collection and proper labeling

    • Specimen transportation in compliance with safety and regulatory standards

    • Electrocardiograms (EKGs)

    • Macular edema screening exams (training provided)

  • Maintain an organized and clean mobile work environment, including storage and transport of medical equipment.

  • Manage clinical supply inventory and ensure readiness for scheduled patient visits.

  • Collaborate with IQVIA’s coordination team for timely documentation and visit completion.

  • Report adverse events, medical product issues, or patient concerns per regulatory and company guidelines.

  • Maintain accurate travel logs, mileage documentation, and compliance-related records.


Experience Level Required

  • Minimum Experience: 2 years of phlebotomy experience

  • Preferred Experience: 1 year of EKG experience

  • Experience Type: Clinical or field-based healthcare settings


Qualifications

  • Certification as Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) preferred.

  • State-issued CMA or CPT license required for candidates in Washington or Louisiana.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for diagnostic equipment transport.

  • Willingness to travel up to 100 miles for in-home patient visits.

  • Strong proficiency in clinical documentation and medical equipment use.

  • Exceptional communication and patient-service skills.

  • Fluent in spoken and written English.

  • Valid driver’s license; driving record will be reviewed.

  • Successful completion of background check and drug screening following an employment offer.


Compensation

  • Base Pay: Starting at $25.00 per hour

  • Compensation includes paid appointment time, travel time, and IRS-standard mileage reimbursement.

  • Additional compensation or benefits may apply based on location, experience, and program requirements.
