Position Overview

IQVIA is seeking an experienced Mobile Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to support its In-Home Clinical Solutions program across the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania region. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals who are skilled in patient-facing diagnostic procedures and comfortable working in a mobile, in-home care environment.

As a per diem, field-based opportunity, the role offers flexible scheduling with no minimum visit requirements. IQVIA manages all patient appointment coordination, enabling you to focus exclusively on delivering high-quality clinical services in patients’ homes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-home blood specimen collection, labeling, and compliant transport in line with regulatory and network standards.

  • Conduct diagnostic screenings such as electrocardiograms (EKGs) and macular edema assessments (training provided).

  • Maintain a clean and well-organized mobile workspace, ensuring proper storage and transport of supplies and equipment.

  • Monitor and replenish clinical supplies as needed to support efficient visit workflows.

  • Complete and submit accurate visit documentation in collaboration with IQVIA’s clinical coordination team.

  • Identify and report adverse events, product concerns, or patient inquiries according to company and manufacturer protocols.

  • Maintain clear and accurate mileage, time logs, and compliance records.


Scheduling and Compensation

  • Flexible per diem scheduling with no monthly minimum visit requirement.

  • Hourly pay includes both appointment time and travel time (minimum of 2 paid hours per visit).

  • Mileage reimbursement at IRS-standard rates.


Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience in clinical or field environments.

  • At least 1 year of EKG experience preferred.

  • Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) preferred.

  • State-issued CMA or CPT license required for candidates residing in Washington or Louisiana.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for transporting clinical and diagnostic equipment.

  • Willingness to travel up to 100 miles for patient visits.

  • Proficiency with medical equipment and strong documentation accuracy.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.

  • Fluency in spoken and written English.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Must complete mandatory drug screening and background checks upon offer acceptance.
