About the Role

IQVIA’s In-Home Clinical Solutions team is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide per diem, mobile-based in-home clinical services for patients initiating complex therapies. This role involves traveling within a designated geographic area to perform clinical procedures that support patient care, treatment initiation, and therapy adherence.

This is a flexible per diem opportunity with no minimum visit requirement. Scheduling and patient coordination are fully managed by IQVIA, allowing you to dedicate your time entirely to delivering high-quality clinical care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-home clinical procedures including blood specimen collection, labeling, and transportation in accordance with regulatory and network standards.

  • Conduct screenings such as electrocardiograms (EKGs) and macular edema assessments (training provided where applicable).

  • Maintain compliance with all laboratory safety and handling protocols.

  • Ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and organization of clinical equipment, supplies, and transport materials.

  • Monitor and manage inventory of medical supplies.

  • Collaborate with IQVIA’s coordination team to complete visit documentation accurately and promptly.

  • Identify and report adverse events, medical product complaints, and patient inquiries in line with IQVIA and manufacturer guidelines.

  • Maintain accurate logs of mileage, travel time, and working hours for reimbursement and compliance.


Role Structure and Compensation

  • Per diem, mobile field-based position with flexible scheduling.

  • No monthly visit minimum.

  • Hourly compensation includes both appointment and travel time (minimum of 2 paid hours per visit).

  • Reimbursement for mileage at current IRS rates.


Required Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted LPN or LVN license in applicable state.

  • Current CPR certification.

  • Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience in clinical or field environments.

  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for transporting clinical equipment.

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 100 miles for patient visits.

  • Proficiency in clinical equipment use and documentation practices.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

  • Ability to pass required background check and drug screening.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year of EKG experience.

  • Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Phlebotomy Technician (CPT).
