Position Overview

IQVIA is seeking an experienced Mobile Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to support its In-Home Clinical Solutions team. This per diem role is designed for skilled healthcare professionals who are comfortable delivering patient care in a home-based setting. The position involves local travel to patient residences to perform diagnostic and clinical procedures that support treatment initiation and adherence programs.

This flexible, field-based position offers per diem scheduling with no minimum monthly visit requirement. IQVIA manages all patient scheduling and communications, allowing you to focus exclusively on providing high-quality clinical care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-home blood specimen collection, labeling, and safe transport according to all network and regulatory standards.

  • Conduct additional diagnostic screenings, including EKGs and macular edema assessments (training provided).

  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and compliant mobile work environment, including proper supply management.

  • Manage clinical supply inventory and ensure all materials meet quality and safety requirements.

  • Collaborate with IQVIA’s coordination team to complete and submit accurate documentation following each visit.

  • Identify and report adverse events, product complaints, or patient concerns per company and manufacturer guidelines.

  • Maintain detailed mileage and time logs for reimbursement and compliance.


Compensation and Scheduling

  • Per diem, field-based role with flexible scheduling.

  • No minimum monthly visit commitment.

  • Paid hourly for both appointment time and travel time (minimum of 2 hours paid per visit).

  • IRS-standard mileage reimbursement for all eligible travel.


Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical or field environment.

  • At least 1 year of EKG experience preferred.

  • Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) preferred.

  • State-issued CMA or CPT license required for applicants located in Washington or Louisiana.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to transport clinical equipment.

  • Willingness to travel up to 100 miles for patient appointments.

  • Proficiency in handling medical equipment and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.

  • Fluency in spoken and written English.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • Must successfully complete required drug screening and background checks post-offer.
