Position Overview

IQVIA is seeking an experienced Mobile Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to join its In-Home Clinical Solutions team, serving patients across the Baltimore, Maryland region. This field-based position is designed for healthcare professionals skilled in patient-centered diagnostic services and capable of working independently while traveling locally.

This per diem role provides flexible scheduling with no minimum monthly visit obligations. IQVIA manages all patient scheduling and communication, allowing you to dedicate your efforts entirely to delivering high-quality in-home clinical care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-home blood specimen collection, labeling, and compliant specimen transport.

  • Conduct diagnostic screenings such as electrocardiograms (EKGs) and macular edema assessments (training provided).

  • Maintain a clean, well-organized mobile workspace and ensure proper storage and transport of medical supplies.

  • Monitor clinical inventory to ensure readiness for scheduled visits.

  • Collaborate with the IQVIA coordination team to complete and submit accurate visit documentation.

  • Report adverse events, product concerns, or clinical inquiries following established procedures.

  • Maintain accurate logs for mileage, working hours, and compliance.


Scheduling and Compensation

  • Per diem role with flexible work hours.

  • No minimum monthly visit requirement.

  • Hourly compensation includes both clinical appointment time and travel time (minimum of 2 paid hours per visit).

  • IRS-standard mileage reimbursement for eligible travel.


Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience in clinical or field settings.

  • At least 1 year of EKG experience preferred.

  • Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) preferred.

  • State-issued CMA or CPT license required for candidates residing in Washington or Louisiana.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of medical or diagnostic equipment.

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 100 miles for patient visits.

  • Strong proficiency in using clinical equipment and documenting clinical activities accurately.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong patient-focused approach.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Successful completion of background check and drug screening upon offer acceptance.
