Position Overview

IQVIA’s In-Home Clinical Solutions team is seeking a reliable and skilled Mobile Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to deliver in-home clinical and diagnostic services to patients across Cleveland, Ohio and surrounding areas. This per diem field-based role is ideal for professionals who value flexibility, autonomy, and patient-centered care.

You will travel to patient residences to perform clinical procedures including blood collection, EKGs, and diagnostic screenings that support treatment initiation and ongoing adherence. IQVIA manages all scheduling and patient coordination, allowing you to focus exclusively on quality clinical service.


Key Role Highlights

  • Flexible per diem schedule with no minimum visit requirement

  • Paid hourly, including both appointment time and travel time (minimum paid: 2 hours)

  • Mileage reimbursement at standard IRS rates

  • Local travel within assigned geographic areas


Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform in-home phlebotomy, specimen labeling, and secure transport in compliance with regulatory and safety standards

  • Conduct trained diagnostic screenings including EKGs and macular edema exams (training provided)

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant mobile work setup

  • Track and manage clinical supplies and equipment

  • Communicate and coordinate with IQVIA’s clinical teams to ensure timely documentation

  • Record mileage and maintain accurate logs for compliance

  • Report adverse events, patient concerns, and product-related issues according to established guidelines


Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience in clinical or field environments (required)

  • Minimum 1 year of EKG experience (preferred)

  • CMA or CPT certification preferred; state-issued CMA/CPT license required in Washington or Louisiana

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for transporting diagnostic equipment

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 100 miles for patient visits

  • Strong proficiency in medical equipment handling and documentation practices

  • Excellent interpersonal communication with a patient-focused approach

  • Fluent in written and spoken English

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

  • Must pass background check and drug screening after offer acceptance


Experience Required

  • 2–4 years total healthcare experience, including phlebotomy

  • Experience in mobile healthcare, home health, or diagnostic services preferred

  • EKG exposure highly advantageous but not mandatory


Compensation

  • Base Pay: $25.00 per hour
    Actual compensation may vary based on experience, location, certification, and scheduling requirements. Additional incentives or benefits may be available depending on assignment and eligibility.
