Overview

IQVIA is seeking an experienced Mobile Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to support its In-Home Clinical Solutions team. This per diem, travel-based position focuses on delivering patient-centered diagnostic services directly in patient homes across designated geographic areas. The role includes mobile phlebotomy, EKGs, and other clinical assessments aligned with patient treatment and adherence programs.

This flexible, field-based position offers autonomy, structured support, and compensated travel time, ideal for healthcare professionals who prefer per diem scheduling and community-based clinical work.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-home blood specimen collection, labeling, and proper transport following IQVIA protocols and regulatory standards.

  • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and accurate specimen delivery.

  • Conduct assigned clinical screenings, including electrocardiograms (EKGs) and macular edema evaluations (training provided).

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper storage of medical equipment and supplies during mobile operations.

  • Manage clinical supply inventory and maintain readiness for field visits.

  • Coordinate with IQVIA’s clinical support teams to complete and submit required documentation accurately and on time.

  • Identify and report adverse events, product complaints, and patient concerns per IQVIA guidelines.

  • Maintain precise travel logs, mileage reporting, and time documentation for reimbursement purposes.


Experience Required

  • Minimum 2 years of professional phlebotomy experience in clinical or field environments.

  • At least 1 year of EKG experience preferred but not mandatory.

  • Experience delivering patient care independently in community or home-based settings is highly desirable.


Qualifications

  • Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) preferred.

  • State-issued CMA/CPT license required for applicants residing in Washington or Louisiana.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to transport diagnostic equipment.

  • Willingness to travel up to 100 miles for patient visits.

  • Strong skillset in medical equipment use, clinical documentation, and patient interaction.

  • Fluent verbal and written communication in English.

  • Valid driver's license with driving record verification required.

  • Mandatory drug screening and background check post-offer.


Position Details

  • Per diem role with flexible scheduling.

  • No minimum monthly visit requirement.

  • Hourly pay includes both appointment and travel time, with a 2-hour minimum per assignment.

  • Mileage reimbursement at IRS standard rates.

Compensation

Base Pay: Starting at $25.00 per hour
Actual compensation varies based on experience, skills, location, and scheduling. Additional incentives or benefits may be applicable depending on the role.
