Job Summary
IQVIA is seeking a Manager, Clinical Data Management to lead global CDM teams in delivering high-quality data management solutions across clinical trial projects. Based in Kochi, this hybrid role combines leadership, operational oversight, project planning, and people development responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical and managerial expertise in clinical data systems and global pharma standards.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the production of CRF/e-CRF, database design, edit specs, validation programming, and Data Management Plans
Provide expert-level technical guidance on data management deliverables and regulatory compliance
Manage staff performance, conduct bi-monthly 1:1s, and implement engagement initiatives
Monitor training compliance, SOP adherence, and overall team development
Collaborate with project leads for staffing, project planning, and peak workload management
Communicate effectively between leadership and operational teams
Represent CDM in bid defenses, audits, kick-off meetings, and budget discussions
Evaluate risks, monitor project financials, and drive business outcomes
Support internal and external audits, ensuring team preparedness and participation
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical, Biological, Mathematical Sciences or Nursing
7+ years of relevant CDM experience, including team leadership
Strong understanding of data management systems, clinical trial lifecycle, and CDM deliverables
Proven skills in team mentoring, performance management, and engagement strategies
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
Understanding of project financials, forecasting, and burn rate monitoring
Experience with regulatory guidelines, clinical data tools, and audit preparedness
