Job Summary
IQVIA is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist to serve as the Medical Strategy Lead – Cardiovascular, a high-impact role driving innovation and business growth within IQVIA’s Cardiovascular Center of Excellence. As a subject matter expert, you’ll combine clinical expertise with strategic leadership to shape and expand cardiovascular clinical trials across global clients. This is a remote, senior-level opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-growing team advancing patient-centered research solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop evidence-based, patient-focused delivery strategies for cardiovascular clinical trials
Drive cardiovascular business development through clinical consultation and proposal strategy
Guide protocol design, feasibility analysis, and regulatory considerations for CV studies
Collaborate with operations, sales, and medical strategy teams across therapeutic areas
Support customer meetings, bid defenses, and industry conferences
Lead thought leadership initiatives including publications, presentations, and CV community engagement
Monitor cardiovascular market trends and pipeline for strategic insights
Required Skills & Qualifications
MD or equivalent from an accredited institution; Board-Certified Cardiologist
Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical research and drug development
Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements
Proven expertise in cardiovascular medicine and operational trial delivery
Excellent communication and scientific presentation skills
Ability to lead virtual teams in a matrix environment
Experience with proposal development and client-facing strategic roles
Strong decision-making, data analysis, and business acumen
Comfortable working with limited information and driving clarity
