Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Managing Consultant to join our leadership team at Navitas Life Sciences. This is a pivotal role combining client leadership, consulting excellence, project delivery, and business development. The Managing Consultant will drive strategic growth through successful execution of consultancy projects, high-impact client engagement, and expansion of our service footprint in areas such as Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Development, and Risk Management.


Key Responsibilities:

Client & Project Leadership:

  • Own the full lifecycle of consulting projects—from scope definition to final delivery

  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing expert guidance and ensuring alignment with project objectives

  • Define business cases, statements of work (SOWs), and develop project execution strategies

  • Prepare and manage project plans, resources, deliverables, risks, timelines, and profitability

  • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) in your domain to lead analysis, design, and implementation of solutions

  • Deliver routine updates, status reports, and documentation aligned with Navitas’ quality and governance standards

Business Development & Account Growth:

  • Drive revenue growth of $500K+ annually through proposal generation, client presentations, and opportunity identification

  • Build and maintain 4–5 long-term client relationships through proactive engagement and trusted advisory

  • Own the proposal lifecycle from client briefing, scoping, and need-based solution development to contract finalization

  • Represent Navitas Life Sciences at industry events, networks, and strategic discussions

Team Leadership & Coaching:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor 2–6 project team members

  • Set clear objectives, provide feedback, and drive collaboration across teams

  • Actively develop junior staff and support career growth within the consulting function

  • Foster a high-performance, supportive, and knowledge-sharing culture

Internal Strategic Contribution:

  • Lead strategic initiatives and cross-functional business improvement projects

  • Develop and disseminate best practices, whitepapers, case studies, and thought leadership (PoVs)

  • Serve as an internal SME in a defined domain to build Navitas’ consulting knowledge base

  • Represent and promote company values, leading team sessions and internal events as a cultural ambassador


Candidate Profile:

  • Education: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related field

  • Experience:

    • 8+ years in Life Sciences or consulting

    • Minimum 4 years in a senior consulting capacity

    • At least 2 years in a dedicated business development role

    • Industry experience in Pharma/Clinical/PV/Regulatory roles is highly valued

  • Domain Expertise (any one preferred):

    • Pharmacovigilance & Patient Safety

    • Regulatory Affairs & Labelling

    • Clinical Development Processes

    • Quality, Risk & Compliance

  • Consulting & BD Skills:

    • Proficient in consulting frameworks, methodologies, and client facilitation

    • Strong proposal writing, need identification, and contract negotiation experience

    • Demonstrated success in generating new business (minimum $500K annually)

    • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement at senior levels

  • Leadership & Soft Skills:

    • Gravitas and executive presence

    • Strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and cultural awareness

    • A self-starter with high accountability and passion for building long-term value


Estimated Salary: ₹35 – ₹50 LPA (depending on domain expertise and BD track record)
