Managing Consultant – Life Sciences & Pharma Consulting (8+ Yrs Exp)
Job Summary:
Join a growing team as a Managing Consultant at Navitas Life Sciences, where you will lead high-value consulting projects, drive client relationship management, and contribute significantly to business development. This senior-level role requires at least 8 years of experience in life sciences consulting or pharma industry, strong project delivery skills, and subject matter expertise in areas such as pharmacovigilance, clinical development, regulatory affairs, or quality management.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a portfolio of consultancy projects, ensuring delivery of tailored and robust client solutions.
Drive full lifecycle project delivery from initial scope definition to final execution and reporting.
Develop project management plans, define structure, and control reporting tools.
Proactively manage project scope, deliverables, risks, timelines, dependencies, and profitability.
Build and expand client relationships to generate revenue and grow the client base.
Create and deliver needs-based proposals and conduct business development activities to meet revenue targets ($500K+).
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in areas such as Patient Safety, Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Development, or Regulatory Affairs.
Mentor and coach project team members (2–6 people), providing direction, feedback, and development support.
Lead internal company initiatives, strategic themes, and knowledge-sharing activities such as case studies and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in Life Sciences or Consulting roles, including:
Minimum 4 years in a Senior Consulting role
Minimum 3 years in Life Sciences/Pharma industry roles
Minimum 2 years in business development
Expertise in at least one of the following:
Patient Safety & Pharmacovigilance
Clinical Development Processes
Regulatory Affairs & Labelling
Risk Management, Quality, and Compliance
Proven consulting skills, methodologies, and tools.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
Strong stakeholder and client relationship management at senior levels.
Project management expertise to handle complex, multi-faceted projects.
Business development success (target: $500K+), including:
Lead generation, proposal development, contract negotiation.
Account management and relationship expansion.
Strong leadership, self-starter mindset, and ability to motivate teams.
