Job Summary

The role is responsible for driving sales performance, achieving brand objectives, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and executing territory business plans. The position requires strong scientific knowledge, customer engagement skills, and the ability to effectively communicate AbbVie's value proposition to healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Performance Management

  • Achieve or exceed sales targets, brand KPIs, and financial objectives.

  • Execute territory business plans to maximize sales opportunities.

  • Monitor and improve sales performance through effective planning and execution.

Customer Engagement

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare professionals and key customers.

  • Understand customer needs, expectations, and challenges to deliver appropriate solutions.

  • Effectively handle objections and secure commitment during sales interactions.

Territory Management

  • Develop and execute territory call plans to optimize customer coverage and frequency.

  • Identify growth opportunities within assigned territories.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.

  • Gather and share market intelligence with sales managers and brand teams.

  • Support strategic decision-making through customer and market insights.

Brand Promotion & Scientific Communication

  • Communicate product benefits and scientific information accurately.

  • Differentiate AbbVie's products and value proposition within the market.

  • Develop relationships with disease-state experts, key opinion leaders, and healthcare advocates.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in:

    • Pharmacy

    • Life Sciences

    • Biological Sciences

    • Business Administration

    • Related Healthcare Discipline

Experience

  • Proven track record of success in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales.

  • Experience in physician-facing or account-based selling preferred.

  • Experience in pharmaceutical marketing, managed healthcare, or commercial operations is advantageous.
