Job Summary
The Senior Manager – Strategic Forecasting is responsible for developing long-term pharmaceutical forecasts, applying advanced analytics and statistical modeling, driving forecasting innovation, managing cross-functional stakeholder engagement, leading teams, and supporting strategic business decisions across the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Develop strategic and statistical pharmaceutical forecasts across product lifecycles.
Deliver forecasting models and analytical solutions to support business planning.
Identify key forecasting assumptions, risks, opportunities, and business insights.
Improve forecasting accuracy through continuous process enhancements.
Collaborate with Finance, Research, Commercial, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Country teams.
Apply advanced forecasting techniques such as Monte Carlo simulations and statistical modeling.
Drive automation and innovation in forecasting processes.
Select appropriate forecasting methodologies based on business requirements and data availability.
Present actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Manage forecasting projects and ensure timely delivery.
Lead and mentor team members while supporting talent development and training.
Standardize forecasting models, processes, and analytical frameworks.
Resolve stakeholder conflicts and ensure effective cross-functional communication.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate Degree in Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical strategic forecasting or commercial analytics.
Strong leadership and people management experience.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.

Experience
8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical strategic forecasting, commercial analytics, or business forecasting with expertise in advanced statistical modeling, forecasting methodologies, and stakeholder management.
Estimated Salary Package (Market Standard)
Fixed CTC: ₹28 LPA – ₹40 LPA
Performance Bonus: ₹4 LPA – ₹8 LPA
Total Expected Package: ₹32 LPA – ₹48 LPA (depending on experience, leadership level, and current compensation)
