Job Title: Senior Managing Consultant


Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Senior Managing Consultant to join our growing team at Navitas Life Sciences. This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing complex consultancy projects, cultivating high-value client relationships, leading business development efforts, and contributing to strategic business growth and internal capability building.


Key Responsibilities

Project & Delivery Leadership

  • Lead a portfolio of complex and/or multiple consultancy projects

  • Serve as primary client contact and ensure strategic alignment and delivery

  • Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise (SME) in solution design and implementation

  • Ensure effective project budgeting and financial controls for optimal profitability

  • Represent and promote Navitas Life Sciences’ brand and domain leadership

  • Introduce innovative concepts and services to elevate client impact

Business Development & Account Leadership

  • Generate $500K–$1M in revenue through direct business development efforts

  • Lead or co-lead 3–4 key accounts, developing deep and ongoing client relationships

  • Identify and convert new business opportunities through networking, events, and industry insights

  • Conduct the full business development lifecycle: lead generation, proposal creation, negotiations, and closing

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to maintain market advantage

Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Coach, mentor, and develop 2–6 project team members and 1–2 direct reports

  • Oversee workload and resource planning across multiple projects

  • Guide personal and professional development through goal setting, appraisals, and feedback

  • Contribute to talent processes such as interviewing, selection, and performance management

Organizational Leadership & Strategic Contribution

  • Lead or co-lead strategic themes, internal initiatives, and business improvements

  • Create and share project collateral, case studies, and points of view (PoV)

  • Act as an internal SME and contribute to knowledge sharing and capability building

  • Serve as a role model in company meetings, internal engagement, and leadership presence


Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 10+ years in the Life Sciences industry or consulting, including:

    • 6–8 years in a senior consulting role

    • 3+ years in a Life Sciences/Pharma organization

    • 3+ years in a business development role

  • Domain expertise in one or more of the following areas:

    • Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance

    • Clinical Development Processes

    • Labelling and Regulatory Affairs

    • Risk Management, Quality, and Compliance
