About the Role

Lead safety excellence in Belgium as a Local Pharmacovigilance (PVG) Manager, where your bilingual fluency and regulatory expertise will safeguard patient wellbeing.
Hobson Prior is partnering with a global life sciences organization seeking a skilled professional to manage local pharmacovigilance activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Note: Applicants must have the legal right to work in Belgium.


Key Responsibilities

  • Establish, manage, and oversee the local pharmacovigilance system.

  • Conduct local literature reviews and handle Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs).

  • Monitor pharmacovigilance intelligence and maintain all local safety documentation.

  • Manage local safety agreements and adapt reports for regulatory submission.

  • Detect safety signals and implement risk minimization measures.

  • Review post-authorization safety materials.

  • Participate in audits, inspections, and project meetings.

  • Provide monthly status reports on the local PV system.

  • Deliver training sessions for employees, service providers, and third parties on PV practices.

  • Collaborate closely with global and local teams to align safety processes.

  • Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for local PV tasks.

  • Serve as a deputy and support other responsibilities within your scope of expertise.


Key Skills & Requirements

  • Fluent in Dutch and French (both required).

  • Strong understanding of pharmacovigilance systems, legislation, and processes.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while collaborating with global safety teams.

  • Previous pharmacovigilance or regulatory experience within the life sciences industry preferred.
