About the Role
Lead safety excellence in Belgium as a Local Pharmacovigilance (PVG) Manager, where your bilingual fluency and regulatory expertise will safeguard patient wellbeing.
Hobson Prior is partnering with a global life sciences organization seeking a skilled professional to manage local pharmacovigilance activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Note: Applicants must have the legal right to work in Belgium.
Key Responsibilities
Establish, manage, and oversee the local pharmacovigilance system.
Conduct local literature reviews and handle Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs).
Monitor pharmacovigilance intelligence and maintain all local safety documentation.
Manage local safety agreements and adapt reports for regulatory submission.
Detect safety signals and implement risk minimization measures.
Review post-authorization safety materials.
Participate in audits, inspections, and project meetings.
Provide monthly status reports on the local PV system.
Deliver training sessions for employees, service providers, and third parties on PV practices.
Collaborate closely with global and local teams to align safety processes.
Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for local PV tasks.
Serve as a deputy and support other responsibilities within your scope of expertise.
Key Skills & Requirements
Fluent in Dutch and French (both required).
Strong understanding of pharmacovigilance systems, legislation, and processes.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while collaborating with global safety teams.
Previous pharmacovigilance or regulatory experience within the life sciences industry preferred.
