🩺 About the Job

The Global Medical Information (GMI) Content Manager plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and scientific integrity of medical responses shared with healthcare professionals and patients.
You will develop, review, and maintain global and local medical information content for assigned therapeutic areas, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

This position supports the GMI Content Head within a specific Global Business Unit (GBU)/Therapeutic Area and collaborates cross-functionally with internal and external teams.


🎯 Main Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for assigned therapeutic area (TA) products.

  • Maintain expertise in product data, disease state knowledge, and evolving industry information.

  • Ensure adherence to all medical information policies, SOPs, and compliance standards.

  • Create, review, and maintain Global and Local scientific content for medical information use.

  • Support localization of global content for respective countries and assist with regional MI activities (e.g., escalation management, congress coverage, literature summaries).

  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and other cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and compliant product information.

  • Conduct ongoing literature reviews and organize data into structured, accessible formats.

  • Provide scientifically sound responses to complex medical inquiries.

  • Contribute to departmental projects and process optimization initiatives.

  • Suggest improvements to policies, workflows, and vendor management processes.

  • Mentor and train staff or outsourced partners when needed.

  • Participate in cross-functional project teams, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.


👨‍🎓 About You

Education

  • 🎓 Minimum: Advanced degree in a healthcare-related field (e.g., PharmD, MD, MS, PhD, or equivalent).

  • 🎓 Preferred: Doctorate-level qualification.

Experience

  • 2+ years of medical information experience in a global pharmaceutical setting, or equivalent clinical experience.

  • Completion of a Medical Information fellowship/residency is desirable.

Soft Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively across functions.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

  • High ethical, regulatory, and scientific integrity.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in medical information systems (e.g., Salesforce, Veeva Vault).

  • Familiarity with digital content management systems.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Languages

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
