🎯 Role Purpose

  • Lead creation, development, communication, and implementation of integrated CMC plans for radiopharmaceutical assets

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to CMC and global product teams

  • Co-lead cross-functional teams with technical leaders and department heads accountable for technical deliverables


🧪 Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with global program teams and therapeutic business units to translate preclinical, clinical, and asset strategy into CMC development goals

  • Lead creation and implementation of integrated CMC plans from portfolio entry through early-phase clinical development

  • Leverage portfolio knowledge and financial acumen to optimize project and portfolio investment strategies

  • Drive cross-functional CMC teams to maximize data value, anticipate risks, communicate effectively, and implement decisions quickly

  • Identify and escalate issues appropriately to teams and stakeholders

  • Develop high-performing matrix teams, identify gaps, and implement remediation to ensure project success

  • Support due diligence by leading CMC development plans and communicating key findings

  • Participate in or lead continuous improvement projects impacting CMC development efficiency


🎓 Required Experience & Skills

  • 10+ years in drug development or radiopharmaceutical product experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering field

  • Practical experience leading cross-functional CMC projects, preferably within radiopharmaceuticals

  • Expertise in project management tools and processes (scope, timeline, cost, risk, procurement)

  • Strong ability to communicate complex issues clearly across organizations

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Advanced degree (MS, MBA, PhD, or PharmD)

  • Understanding of development phases, radiopharmaceutical CMC deliverables, and functional interactions

  • Experience in clinically enabling radiopharmaceutical CMC development, including therapeutics and imaging agents

  • Knowledge of early- and late-phase therapeutic landscapes, including clinical and regulatory environments

💰 Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $151,500 - $222,200

  • Eligible for company bonus
