Job Title: Clinical Data Specialist
Job Summary
Ephicacy is seeking an experienced Clinical Data Specialist for a remote, full-time position. The role involves handling CP reports, developing macros, and ensuring high-quality data validation in clinical research. The ideal candidate will have 8–14 years of experience in clinical data management, SAS programming, and familiarity with drug development processes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver high-quality CP reports (Data Validation Listings, Reconciliation Reports, CRF Metrics, Narratives).
Understand end-to-end clinical drug development processes.
Perform data cleaning, data management, and handle ad-hoc data requests.
Debug system-level macros and develop utility macros to improve efficiency.
Review and provide feedback on client specifications.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
Handle multiple projects and prioritize work as per business needs.
Independently develop macros and enhance existing ones for study-specific needs.
Maintain excellent documentation and coding standards.
Contribute to knowledge sharing and team learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Statistics, Computing, Life Sciences, or B.E/B.Tech.
8–14 years of relevant clinical data management and programming experience.
Proficient in SAS EG/Studio programming.
Strong understanding of CRF Design, Study Protocols, Coding Dictionaries, and Lab Concepts.
Ability to work in a Unix environment.
Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work both independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of R/Python, Spotfire.
Familiarity with additional programming languages is an advantage.
Experience in developing reusable utility macros.
